Streamlining the process.

Struggling to deliver at the sperm bank might be the stuff of sitcoms, but in real life it’s not funny – it’s stressful.

That’s why today, some fertility clinics are adopting virtual reality to help.

They’re giving clients ‘VR Porn’ to help them make their ‘deposit’.

VR Porn hits sperm banks

To date most fertility clinics offer porn mags or videos – that, or nothing at all. But in a cold, clinical setting even these arousal tools can prove fruitless.

But this week, California’s USC Fertility announced it will start to offer its clients VR porn, as an immersive way to help them escape the awkwardness of the situation and produce a semen sample.

“The stress of collecting a sperm specimen in a doctor’s office is a major source of stress for our male patients,” said Dr. Richard Paulson of the USC Los Angeles Fertility Center.

“The virtual reality unit from VR Bangers offers the patient an opportunity to leave, in a virtual way, the stressful environment of the collection room and makes the experience more pleasant.”

What to expect

Now, if you visit the clinic – where many couples have sperm tested as part of IVF – you simply pop a headset on, and pick a 360° experience to watch.

Unlike the experience of flicking through magazines, it will be helpful that VR porn is ‘hands-free’ (although, with the headset over your eyes, you might face problems accurately aiming into the cup).

“We’re proud of being the first VR Adult Entertainment company in the world to provide this kind of technology for people in Fertility Centers,” said Daniel Abramovich CEO of VR Bangers. “In the coming months I look forward to bringing relief to many other clinics around the world.”

“Anything we can do to ease the hardship of people going through the IVF process with our award winning hardcore content is something we are eager to offer people everywhere.”

VR porn – the unlikely saviour of couples around the world.
